ONE FAMILY, FOUR ROUTES

Choose a Nano Banana version by output controls

All four Nano Banana routes support prompt-to-image generation and image editing with up to four supported references. They share the same broad creation modes while exposing different resolution choices.

Nano Banana and Nano Banana 2 Lite use 1K output settings. Nano Banana Pro and Nano Banana 2 expose 1K, 2K, and 4K settings in the current catalog.

  • Prompt-to-image and reference-guided editing
  • Up to four supported reference images
  • Version-specific 1K, 2K, and 4K controls
EDIT WITH REFERENCES

Describe the change while references guide the request

Upload supported JPEG or PNG references, then describe the intended composition, subject, styling, or correction. References guide the model but do not lock identity, typography, geometry, or every source detail.

The automatic ratio option can help an edit follow the source framing. Review the selected ratio and resolution before submitting because compatible choices can vary by version.

VERSION-SPECIFIC CONTROL

Use the controls that belong to the selected route

Nano Banana 2 includes an optional Google Search control in RedVideo. That control is not listed for the other Nano Banana routes.

The studio displays current access and credit requirements before generation. Switching version, resolution, mode, references, or output count can change the task quote.
