Pair a character image with a motion clip
Motion control requires both a primary image and a source video. The image establishes the character or subject appearance, while the video provides a movement sequence for the supported model to interpret.
Use media you own or are authorized to transform, with consent from recognizable people. A clear full subject and readable motion usually provide more usable guidance than a cropped image or heavily edited clip.
Choose which source should lead the movement relationship
The RedVideo studio exposes a follow-motion orientation control for supported Kling motion workflows. Choosing image or video changes how the request describes the relationship between the character image and the motion source.
This control guides generation rather than performing deterministic motion capture. Limb placement, clothing, identity, framing, and fine timing can still vary in the output.
Use the settings available to motion control
Kling 2.6 and Kling 3.0 currently expose motion-control workflows in RedVideo. The source clip manages the motion duration, and the workflow does not expose generated audio.
Kling 3.0 motion control currently offers Standard and Pro quality rather than its separate 4K option. Model access, accepted assets, and credit requirements remain visible in the studio before submission.
Inspect anatomy, identity, and unintended implications
Motion transfer can produce occlusion errors, warped limbs, identity drift, or actions that differ from the source timing. Review the entire clip rather than relying on a representative frame.
Do not use the workflow to impersonate, exploit, or misrepresent a person. Obtain permission for source media and label synthetic content when the intended platform or context requires it.
