4K AI VIDEO / DETAIL WITH CLEAR CONDITIONS

Generate AI video in supported 4K modes

Select a RedVideo model and workflow that explicitly offers 4K output, then build the shot around the detail the format can preserve. 4K is not available on every model or workflow, and higher output settings do not guarantee that every generated detail will be accurate.

Method: Model and workflow specifications are drawn from the current RedVideo configuration catalog. Live availability, supported settings, and generation quotes can change; confirm them in Studio before generating.

CURRENT 4K ROUTES

Choose a configuration that actually exposes 4K

Seedance 2.0 Standard currently includes a native 4K resolution option for its supported text, image, first-and-last-frame, and reference workflows. Seedance Fast and Mini currently top out below 4K.

Kling 3.0 Standard and Kling 3.0 Omni expose a separate 4K quality option on supported workflows. Kling 3.0 motion control is limited to Standard and Pro quality, so 4K should not be assumed across every Kling mode.

RESOLUTION VS. CONTENT

Use 4K for delivery detail, not as a fidelity promise

A 4K output contains more pixels than lower-resolution options, but it cannot guarantee correct text, anatomy, logos, reflections, product geometry, or temporal consistency. Those properties still depend on the model, prompt, source assets, and generated result.

Review the full-resolution file rather than judging only a reduced preview. Fine artifacts, flicker, texture changes, or edge errors can become easier to see at a larger delivery size.

PLAN THE WORKFLOW

Match source quality, aspect ratio, and shot complexity

For image-led generation, begin with a clean authorized source whose composition fits the intended frame. For text-to-video, use a focused prompt and avoid overloading a short shot with unrelated subjects or competing camera directions.

Supported ratios, durations, references, and audio settings remain model-specific. Kling 4K quality currently disables its optional audio control, while other 4K-capable configurations apply their own audio behavior.

  • Select 4K only where the active model offers it
  • Inspect important details at delivery resolution
  • Check the current duration, audio, access, and credit quote
GENERATION OR UPSCALE

Choose native generation or a separate upscale path

A supported 4K generation asks the video model to produce that output setting directly. Upscaling is a separate RedVideo workflow that enlarges a completed image or video and does not recreate the same generation request.

The right path depends on the source, model, delivery need, and current cost. Compare a native high-resolution run with an upscale of an approved lower-resolution result when consistency and budget both matter.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Which RedVideo models currently support 4K AI video?
Seedance 2.0 Standard exposes a 4K resolution option, and Kling 3.0 Standard and Kling 3.0 Omni expose 4K quality on supported workflows. Availability and access should be confirmed in the live studio.
Does every Seedance or Kling workflow support 4K?
No. Seedance 2.0 Fast and Mini currently do not offer 4K, and Kling 3.0 motion control currently offers Standard and Pro rather than 4K. Select the exact model and workflow before choosing output settings.
Does 4K guarantee more accurate generated details?
No. It increases output resolution, but generated text, anatomy, identity, logos, geometry, and motion can still be inaccurate. Review the completed file at full size.
Can a 4K AI video include generated audio?
Audio behavior depends on the model. Kling 3.0 and Kling Omni currently disable their optional audio control at 4K quality; other 4K-capable routes show their applicable audio setting in the studio.
Is native 4K generation the same as video upscaling?
No. Native 4K is an output option within a supported generation model. Upscaling is a separate workflow applied to an existing result, with different behavior and credit requirements.
